Euro 2024: 'We have everything to do a great Euros' - Fernandes
Midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, is full of confidence his country, Portugal, will "do great" in the Uefa European Football Championship (Euro) 2024.

The Euro 2024 will kick off on 14 June, 2024 and end on 14 July, 2024 in Germany.

Bruno Fernandes fancies Portugal’s chances of glory at the European Championship, after a perfect qualifying campaign for Roberto Martinez’s men.
The Selecao, who lifted the trophy in 2016, won every game in Group J, beating Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and Slovakia home and away.
Fernandes played a starring role on the road to Germany, contributing six goals to Portugal’s sizeable final tally of 36.
An assertive Bruno sees no reason why they shouldn’t have another strong showing in 2024.
“I’m really confident. I’m pretty sure that we have everything to do a great Euros,” said Fernandes, when we asked him about the tournament back in March for our TeamViewer Diaries series.
“Everyone in Portugal in the squad, until now, is quite confident that we can make a great thing, and, obviously, we have many good players with great qualities.
“I think we’ve been really functional as a team and we saw it with 10 out of 10 wins in the qualification.
“We feel that we have something to say in these Euros, but we have to find out when we start playing, because that is the moment that we have to do something and say something.”
