The US President said, "She’s remarkable and recovering from unspeakable trauma".

Several other hostages are still in the captivity of Hamas after they were captured on Saturday 7 October, 2023 when Hamas struck the Southern region of Israel by surprise.

President Biden said: "Last year, we secured the release of Abigail, a 4-year-old who was being held by Hamas.

"She’s remarkable and recovering from unspeakable trauma.

Our time together yesterday was a reminder of the work we have in front of us to secure the release of all remaining hostages."

Jake Sullivan, White House National Security Adviser, said on Wednesday, the meeting was “also a reminder that there are still Americans and others being held hostage by Hamas, and we’re working day in and day out to ensure all of them also are able to get safely home to their loved ones.”

“I was just sitting with the president of the United States going through all of the Americans being held hostage and what we can do about them,” he stated at a press conference.

According to timesofisrael.com:

Both of Avigail’s parents were murdered by terrorists who infiltrated Kibbutz Kfar Aza during the October 7 massacre in southern Israel. She was taken captive while hiding in her neighbor’s home.

HC: "Both of Avigail's parents were m*rdered" *Sad*
