The unrest in Sudan continues as "neighbouring countries struggle to support incoming refugees", as disclosed by the World Health Organization (WHO).

In mid-April 2023, there was an outbreak of the Sudanese civil war which has resulted to the ongoing refugee crisis in Africa.
More than two (2) million have fled the country while above ten (10) million have been displaced internally.
The huge majority of these civilians entered into neighbouring country, Chad, with the United Nations (UN) revealing most of these people came from Darfur and Khartoum, however, thousands more migrated to other countries.
The unrest in Sudan, in Northeast Africa, is as a result of the fighting between the Rapid Support Forces and the Sudanese Army.
The World Health governing body called for "immediate action to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe" in the country.
According to the WHO: "Immediate action is needed to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe in #Sudan, as conflict-affected areas are cut off from vital aid, and neighboring countries struggle to support incoming refugees."
